It’s official! Moving boxes have been unpacked and I officially have a new place to call home! I spent countless hours purging the many knick knacks I had collected (many of which I had conveniently placed under my bed) and even more time cleaning, but at long last, I have settled into my cozy little abode. Despite the alarming amount of HGTV episodes I have binged during quarantine, I have played around with numerous color palettes and decor styles in my head indecisively for weeks. When it comes to defining my personal style, I love color and flair, but translating that into a living space is a bit more challenging. Above all, I have to confront the challenge of designing my space to feel refined and luxurious on a budget.
In this search for affordable and quality pieces, I have found that Wayfair, Target, and West Elm have had a huge array of options – especially online! I also love Anthropologie for odds and ends (not usually furniture given the price point). Of course, now I am at the point where I have “favorited” hundreds of items without narrowing down the choices. Because I am 100% a visual person, making collages has helped immensely and I figured I would share my inspo board with y’all!
With my penchant for bright colors and patterns, I don’t expect everyone to want to mimic what I have in mind for my apartment in their own home, but many of these individual pieces could work in a variety of settings and are great steals!
As always, thank you for stopping by and reading! And, if you have any feedback please feel free to share in the comments!
